Crafty Purple Heather: I am a knitter, crocheter, machine embroiderer and general do-it-myselfer. I am an extra tall lady and over the years I have been disappointed with the choice and price of available clothes and accessories for tall people so have learnt to make things for myself. I also take after my mum and dad who did things for themselves... hence I tried mending my own washing machine first before getting outside help. I am usually very lucky and this may be because I am a Sagittarius or because my mum named me Heather. I have three grown up sons and two dogs, an african grey parrot and several fresh water fish. So my interests are varied and my current projects and focus tend to fluctuate regularly.
