Faringdon in pictures
Brilliant photos, .... I wish I could compose like this!
I didn't finish the cushions yeaterday as I intended. Instead I popped round my mum and dad's and ended up helping them to cut out some new sofa covers in a lovely blue embossed draylon. We had to repair their sewing machine first as after sitting unused for many years a capacitor in the foot control had blown and the machine started off on its own and would not stop until we disconnected the electricity.
I untangled the thread from the bobbin raceway whilst dad found a replacement capacitor and by 9pm we had two completed re-upholstered cushions, four more cut out ready and my dad has been instructed on how to complete the rest.
I will pop round later to see how he gets on.

Ann's World: My World
Nice little hat and scarf!
Today I want to : .......
Put some pictures on here of ;
me,
my spaniel (Cassie) and my mad terrier cross (Benjy ...who is a girldog),
my African Grey parrot ..... (who I have just decided to cal Monsieur Poirot 'cos he answers to Parrot which is similar and his name is Berty but I don't like it and we never call him it.)
.........I called out Monsieur Poirot just to see and he bobbed up and down in recognition... so it has his seal of approval .......
I also will try to put piccies of the projects in crochet and knitting etc that I have already completed and then with a bit of luck ... ( and my names not Heather for nothing ...) I will finish the cushions and photograph them too.

This is my first attempt at Blogging and so to get started I was going to list all the crafty things I did today. Crafty as in hand made and unique not underhand and dodgy.
So far out of my list of 5 or 6 items I was going to sew and mend I have managed to cut out six furry animal and fake leather cushion cases and two patchwork suede cushions.
My excuse is ......... the washing machine had a major heart attack and needed to have it's tubes unclogged...... this took nearly all day and was a very messy job , I was so pleased him indoors was around and helped me out and ... after a jointly managede surgical procedure my washing machine is fully functioning and into the bargain my utility room is also fully working again.
Tomorrow I intend to put some links here and post some pictures of the cushions I create.
